ACORN Thuggery Nothing NewWe hardly think the video of ACORN workers assisting what they believe to be a pimp and a prostitute cheat on their taxes and exploit young girls is breaking news. Unfortunately, it’s what we’ve come to expect from this organization. If there’s anyone in this nation who at this point in time doesn’t realize that ACORN is an organization of lawless thugs whose singular desire is to ruin our democracy then there’s nothing in this video to convince them. The thugs in the video are making news not because any thinking person gives this organization any credibility. They’re making news because of our president’s close ties to them, and the fact that he managed to funnel millions of taxpayer dollars in their direction as part of the ill-advised stimulus package.
