Baltimore Sun Continues Journalistic Misdeeds
H ouse Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-NY) apparently committed yet another tax infraction. Or, to put it another way, he continues to steal money from the rest of us honest taxpayers by repeatedly not paying his fair share of taxes.
Where's the Baltimore Sun?
What would the outcry from this newspaper be if the U.S. Congress were dominated by Republicans, and a Republican committee chairman, the man with oversight of our tax laws no less, had been caught multiple times evading our nations tax laws? Would the Sun ask him to step down until the issue was resolved?
Where's Nancy Pelosi, who promised us the most ethical Congress in history. Not off to a good start, to say the least.
What would the outcry from this newspaper be if a Republican committee chairman was giving money to his partisan colleagues, including those partisan colleagues who sit on the Ethics Committee and who refuse to make him step down? Charlie Rangel (D-Harlem) has given campaign contributions to three Democratic members of the ethics committee charged with investigating him.
This Congress stinks. The Sun is MIA on this issue, but even worse, this newspaper is practicing journalistic chicanery. You print the stories you like, and avoid the stories you dislike.
Thank God for FOX news.
And shame on the once-great Baltimore Sun for it's journalistic misdeeds.
