Shame and Redemption

I find it a bit laughable that the Sun calls for "shame and redemption" regarding the release of prisoner torture photos.

Since when has the Sun ever requested shame?

Shouldn't Barney Frank be ashamed to still involve himself in the ongoing financial crisis, considering that there's nobody on the planet more responsible than him?

Shouldn't Miracyle Thompson, the Sun's victim of the week, be ashamed for getting pregnant when she couldn't afford the kids she already has?

Shouldn't President Obama and those who voted for him be ashamed for asking our children and grandchildren to pay to further his ideals and proposals?

And couldn't the Sun show a little shame for utterly refusing to cover the 2008 presidential campaign with anything more than a gushing 18-month endorsement of our sitting president?

The way I see it, there's plenty of shame to go around, and I'd rather have dinner with those who are trying to further American safety by soliciting information from prisoners than those who continue to act as parasites on working Americans, or who seem to have forgotten that every newsman should display at least some semblance of journalistic ethics.
