Dems See Racist Around Every Corner

With more and more frequency, the Sun is printing reader responses accusing the president’s critics of being racists. Responses have been printed accusing those who attend town hall meetings of being racist. Then additional responses were printed stating that even if you don’t attend a town hall, but you oppose the Democrat’s version of health care reform, you are a racist. And we’ve now had the unfortunate responses accusing those who opposed the president’s address to students, and particularly the poorly worded lesson plan that accompanied the speech, of being racist.

So basically, anyone who disagrees with the president on any issue is a racist.

How sad that this is the limit of thinking of the president’s supporters.

Noteworthy is that the president’s approval has dropped significantly in the last month, and that many of those who voted for the president in November do not approve of his health care reform package, his stimulus package, his corporate bailouts, or his gifts and favors given to ACORN, organized labor and other political contributors.

Hence, if you believe the obtuse thinking of the more radical responders to this newspaper, some of those who voted for President Obama have since come to realize that he is biracial, and don’t like it.

False accusations of racism are the last refuge of a scoundrel. I’m sure it’s painful for the president’s supporters to watch his policies crash and burn, but certainly there is some argument or basis on which they can convince Americans to get on board other than calling them names for not doing so.
