Death Of A Partial-Birth Abortion Monster

I find it ironic how many things abortionist Tiller and his deranged killer have in common. Both men suffered from a skewed moral compass and both men had a perverse sense of justifiable murder. Tiller did it for money and greed, his killer did it out of distorted notion of religion, yet undeniably the two shared a thinking pattern not widely reflected among the general population.

Let's face it, in much of this nation Dr. Tiller would have been in prison for his crimes against humanity, and in much of the world he would have been captured and put to death.

So let's not pretend in this moment of reflection that Dr. Tiller was anything but a monster, a Mengele of our times, a man whose sense of right and wrong was so skewed that only 3 doctors in the entire nation would perform the late-term procedures the doctor was notorious for, despite the opportunity to make millions of dollars doing it (which Tiller did).

The doctor was not a nice person.

I view his death in much the same was as I view the deaths of crack dealers and mob bosses. Sad, but only because such vigilante actions can lead to a break-down of law and order, not because the planet will suffer any type of remote loss with his passing.

Whether you view this as two lives lost or the end of 16,000 lives lost largely depends on one's view on abortion. But what most everyone does agree on is that the doctors killer must be imprisoned or given the death penalty, regardless of how objectionable the actions of his victim, because none of us can act as both jury and executioner for any reason.
