How much do I trust the media? Not at all. Maryland has one major newspaper, the Baltimore Sun. The Sun is a hard left leaning newspaper that spends as much time covering up Democratic follies as it does digging up dirt on Republicans. Michael Steele's analogy was a good one; if Michael Steele was a Democrat, the Sunpaper would have ran with the story of his stolen credit report for weeks. Instead, the Sunpaper gave this major local story a minor blurb and spent the days since sweeping it under the rug. This man, the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, had his credit history illegally stolen by Democratic operatives, and the Sun does all but pretend it didn't happen. Just recently, the Sunpaper went out of their way to suggest to Marylander's that we sweep the problems of Baltimore under the rug until after the gubernatorial election, and in the same breath files a lawsuit against Ehrlich feigning a desire in revealing the workings of our state and local government to the people of this state. How preposterous. Anyone who doesn't see a staunch, political, left-wing bias in the Sunpaper doesn't spend enough time outside of their house.
