Leftist's Can't Get Their Health Care Story StraightIt seems that the pro-Obamacare letters printed in the Sun these days are having a difficult time getting their stories straight. One responder is sure the Cardin town hall was a coordinated effort because he "saw almost no one that I knew" in the hall, along with many "out-of-state plates". Yet another responder, a Baltimore County councilman, is equally sure that "This was an orchestrated effort by Republicans, many whom I recognized". So one guy is sure they were all bussed in, another guy recognizes them all as local Republicans. Is it any wonder why the Democrats have had such a difficult time answering actual health care questions, when they can't even get their story straight on who is attending the town hall meetings? The Democrats and their left-wing supporters are grasping at straws. They see the polls and they know that the Blue Dogs and freshmen congressman are quickly getting cold feet on this issue. They can't answer questions regarding the major details of the plan, so instead they lash out at the protesters as bigots, radicals, right-wingers, un-American, etc., etc., etc. I believe this legislation is about done. Too many question, no answers, and no media scrutiny to reassure a restless public. Perhaps now is the time to start talking about how to tweak the current system to make it better, and to put the short-lived days of socialized medicine behind us. Editor - bethesite.com
