Obama's Speech Not The Way to Help Poor KidsI find the Baltimore Sun letter “Students need encouragement” and the statement “Obviously, the people who object to President Obama speaking to schoolchildren do not live in the urban areas where the children are dealing with the drug and gang culture” to be laughable. If the president wants to help these kids, he should expand their options for school choice, something he’s so far been unwilling to do. A good school will help them. A good speech will not.
