Andres Alonso makes an appeal for 500 "helpers" to try to restore order to the city school system. Wouldn't it be nice if the parents of the 500 worst kids in the system were the designated "helpers", and if for their first order of business they simply taught their own children how to act in a civilized fashion towards their peers and teachers?
