No Nuclear FreezeThose who advocate for a complete elimination of nuclear weapons are way off base. Was the use of such weapons against Japan in WWII was not justified? I think they were. And I don’t think we can be sure that there will never be a similar reoccurrence. In fact, there is much speculation that Israel is going to use tactical nuclear weapons when it obliterates Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities (which we all know is going to occur at some point in time). The genie is already out of the bottle. As long as third world dictators and sophisticated terrorist groups seek out various types of WMD, including nuclear weapons, we must maintain our ability to react quickly with the most advanced weaponry available.
