N.J. School Employs Nazi Tactics to Brainwash Children
T he Burlington Township School District in New Jersey is no stranger to political controversy. In 2007, the district invented a fictional right-wing fundamentalist group it called the "New Crusaders" to allegedly teach the
children how to respond to an act of terrorism.
As events continue to unfold, however, it's appears more likely that the 2007 drill was only designed to reinforce to the children of the school that Christianity is bad and dangerous.
This week, with the release of the horrendous video showing young, impressionable children being indoctrinated to acceptance of liberal policies, the district appears
to have set a new low.
Apparently, Superintendent Christopher Manno and Principal Denise King are accepting of the idea that children be forced to repeat pro-Obama mantras in the classroom, as both appear to support the
teacher's making the video, and to be disturbed only by the reality that it's been exposed to the general public.
The video, which will be difficult to watch for some viewers, has all the visual and audio impact of a Pakistani madrassa, with brainwashed children bobbing their heads up and down in
acceptance of "the savior".
The good news? New Jersey Commissioner Lucille Davy has directed the school's superintendent to review the event, to ensure that students can celebrate Black History Month without "inappropriate partisan politics in the classroom."
Well said.
We don't know how it came to be that Principal King and Superintendent Manno came to support this ill-advised venture. And it's too early to say without question that Manno and
King support Nazi-like brainwashing of children, although things appear headed in that direction. We can only hope that the review ordered by Ms. Davy, and thank God she's
in charge and not one of the former mentioned administrators, results in those parties whom orchestrated this event facing disciplinary action.
"I felt this was reminiscent of 1930s Germany, and the indoctrination of children to worship their leader," said Robert Bowen, father of two children at Bernice Young Elementary.
For good reason. We don't think this story's going away, and we'll do our part to make sure it doesn't until those who mentally abuse children are brought to justice.
Mr. Bowen, you and your children deserve better, as do all the children of New Jersey.
